Declared value is what you say the card is worth when you build your order. It sets the surcharge above and the insurance and liability cover on the way home, so declare it honestly.
For example: Crease Restoration on a card declared at $800 is $60 plus 2.5% of $800 ($20), so $80. Declared at $300, the same repair is $60.

What kinds of damage can you improve?+
Surface scratches, dirt and residue, light creases, dings, and holo scuffs respond well. That's what The Bathhouse Cleanse, Crease Restoration, and Dent/Lift Restoration are for, and Slab Crack safely frees cards from graded cases. Severe creasing through the card stock, ink loss, and water staining have limited upside, and we'll always give you an honest assessment before starting.
What TCGs do you work on?+
Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Super, Riftbound, and Gundam, including Japanese Pokémon and One Piece cards. Our database covers every printed card in all of them, and they all go through the same restoration pipeline and pricing. Something else? Add your card manually in the quote builder and pick “Other TCG.”
Is restoration the same as card doctoring?+
No. We only remove contaminants and reduce wear using non-additive methods: never ink, trimming, fills, or coatings. Graders still evaluate every card on its own merits, so see the next question before submitting a restored card for grading.
What are the risks of grading a restored card?+
Every grader (PSA, BGS, CGC) applies its own evolving alteration criteria, and even non-additive restoration can be flagged as altered, returned ungraded, and affect market value. Restoration is a cosmetic service. It never guarantees a grade, and grading outcomes are entirely at the grader's discretion.
What if my card is damaged while you have it?+
Every card is photographed before any work begins, so its condition on arrival is on record. If a card ends up in worse condition than that record shows while it is in our hands, we cover its fair market replacement value, set from TCGplayer or verified eBay sold listings. Wear that was already there is not covered, and neither is anything a carrier does in transit. The full wording is in our Terms of Service.
How long does it take?+
Turnaround is based on the service you purchase and starts from the date your cards are received. Most work completes in about a week, and it may vary with workload, order size, or special requests. Your portal shows live progress the whole way.
When do I pay?+
Nothing is charged when you submit. Every submission is reviewed first, then you ship your cards in. Once they reach us we confirm the final price and email an invoice, which must be paid in full before any work begins. Return insurance is quoted and billed when your cards ship back.
How should I pack and ship my cards?+
Put each card in a penny sleeve and a toploader (Slab Crack orders ship in the original slab), secure it so nothing can shift, and send it with a tracked service. We strongly recommend insuring the shipment to us, and adding signature confirmation for high-value cards. We are not responsible for cards lost or damaged in transit to us, and a carrier marking a package delivered is not proof it reached us.
Can I pick my cards up in person?+
Yes. Choose “I’ll pick them up” instead of return shipping when you build your order. We hold your restored cards and email you to arrange where to meet, whether that is a set location or a card show. No return address is needed.
